Jonathan Handey
Jonathan was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Finance, Investment Banking. Upon graduation, Jonathan worked as a manager for two local home improvement companies. There he gained hands-on experience managing construction crews performing residential retrofits and developed his knowledge of homeowners’ energy concerns. He started Eco Three in the summer of 2010 and continues to grow the company. He has his Infiltration & Duct Leakage Professional Certification from the Building Performance Institute and was honored as part of the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2015 Top 40 Under 40. Elizabeth Sanfelippo
Elizabeth was born in California and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She earned her BA from Middlebury College in Vermont and a Master of Science in Environmental Management with a focus in Energy Management from Samford University. She is an accredited LEED® Green Associate through the U.S. Green Building Council, a Certified Infiltration & Duct Leakage Professional through the Building Performance Institute, a Certified HERS® Rater through RESNET®, and is a registered contractor with the Alabama State Board of Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration certified to perform Duct Air Tightness Testing and Building Envelope Tightness (blower door) Tests for Energy Code compliance. She was named one of RESNET's Emerging Leadership Council Fellows in 2018. She loves high performance buildings, green building technology, and environmentally conscious operations and maintenance. David Wilkerson
David hails from historic Montgomery, AL and graduated from Auburn University with BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Sustainability. While in school, he became interested in the concept of energy efficiency and green building techniques, and after interning with an energy consulting company in Montgomery, he knew that this industry was his calling. David joined Eco Three in January 2015 and now has his Infiltration & Duct Leakage Professional Certification from the Building Performance Institute. He is a registered contractor with the Alabama State Board of Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration certified to perform Duct Air Tightness Testing and Building Envelope Tightness (blower door) Tests for Energy Code compliance. He has his Masters in Engineering of Sustainable Smart Cities from University of Alabama at Birmingham and actively involved with the Young Professionals of the Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders. He enjoys being outdoors, discovering new and exciting foods and drinks, attending live concerts, and cheering on his beloved Auburn Tigers. David@eco-three.com
Walker Goodrich
Growing up in Birmingham, Walker graduated with a BA in Business from Auburn University in 2003. He and his wife Rachel now call Fairhope, AL home. Walker has worked primarily in Industrial Construction with BE&K, KBR, and Smith Industrial Services. There, he gathered a great deal of experience managing large scale maintenance and construction projects in the paper industry. Walker became interested in home energy performance when building his family's home in 2013. By selecting a high efficiency insulation package, Walker was struck by how much it impacted his home energy costs. Those savings inspired him to want to bring the advanced energy work offered by Eco Three to the Gulf Coast. Walker opened our Gulf Coast office in 2015 and has his Infiltration & Duct Leakage Professional Certification from the Building Performance Institute. When he has time, Walker enjoys woodworking, playing outdoors with his three children, and explaining how he's an Alabama fan that graduated from Auburn. Walker@eco-three.com
