David turns the thermostat up a little during the day so that he, his wife, and their new baby aren’t trying to cool the house as much during the day as they do at night for sleeping. His wife likes it cool, though, so it’s been a bit of a battle. They are also trying to balance keeping it cool enough for their comfort but warm enough for the baby. They use a little space heater by the crib, and it does not seem to impact the overall comfort of the home. David is also debating what to do about his leaky old windows. This is a common issue in an older home like his.
Jonathan has been using windows for fresh air and circulation; however, his family’s allergies have limited that. The extremely high pollen levels mandate that the AC is the main source of air movement for now.
Let us know how your interactions with your home have changed during this time. Weather is mild now, but summer is coming. Are you ready for more extreme weather? Call us to get started planning for the upcoming months today!
